About Warburton

Warburton is a Community Operating System (COS) for online communities on Telegram and Discord — nine interlocking capability areas deployed as a single platform with a consistent character voice.

What is it?

Warburton is a character-driven AI community manager with a built-in trust and safety layer. It runs inside Telegram and Discord servers, moderating conversations in a consistent, authored voice rather than issuing robotic warnings. Beneath the character is a full Community Operating System — nine capability areas covering governance, safeguarding, knowledge capture, operational intelligence, community health monitoring, welfare escalation, deterministic safety, daily digest, and contributor recognition.

The system has 4,183 passing tests. Every decision is auditable. Every safety rule is deterministic — no AI in the loop where it matters.

Warburton is built and operated by Costwolds LLC. It costs $2,586 per month plus tax, with a 14-day free pilot included. No setup fees, no long-term contract required.

Why does it exist?

Communities go quiet. It happens gradually — fewer messages, longer silences, the energy draining out. The token still minted. The roadmap still live. But nobody home.

That is when the risk grows. Scammers arrive in the silence, using enough of the truth to be convincing. They know the project name, the team names, the right language. Real losses from sophisticated attacks on communities that had gone unguarded.

Warburton is the response to that. What began as a community manager became something larger — an operating system for the entire lifecycle of community management. Not a chatbot with guardrails. Not a moderation bot with a personality. A platform that watches, records, escalates, and protects.

Why is it different?

A conventional moderation bot deletes messages and issues templated warnings. Warburton maintains a consistent authored character, so the community engages with a persona rather than a tool.

Most platforms give you a tool. Warburton gives you nine interlocking systems — health monitoring, operational assurance, protection protocols, knowledge capture, welfare escalation, governance, daily digest, deterministic safety, and contributor recognition — deployed as a single platform.

Warburton also includes a trust and safety layer that intercepts financial advice, detects grooming and scam patterns, and escalates to a human operator when the situation requires judgement a bot should not make. When someone in your community needs help they shouldn't be asking a bot for, Warburton doesn't make a scene — it uses its particular brand of anxious self-deprecation to suggest they speak to a real person. Quietly. Without alerting anyone that the system noticed.

How does it work?

Warburton connects to an existing Telegram group or Discord server and begins moderating immediately. Both platforms are supported in every subscription at no extra charge.

The system is structured in three workstreams:

Onboarding starts with a 14-day free pilot. Costwolds LLC configures Warburton for the client's community, connects it to the chosen platform, and tunes the character voice. No technical work is required from the client. Warburton is live and moderating within days of sign-up.

Why should anyone care?

The character is why your community accepts Warburton. The guardrails are why you want it there. The log is for when it really matters.

Communities forget. Warburton doesn't. Every moderation action is logged with timestamps in a structured format — flagged messages, escalation events, scam interceptions, and distress referrals. This record is available to the community operator for compliance, evidence, and review.

We can't stop the worst from happening. Nobody can, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. What we can do is reduce the risk, create the log, and make sure the person who needs help finds their way to someone qualified.
